마지막 과제는 심판이 파리 한 마리를 날리면 칼로 자르게 하는 것이었다.
첫번째 무사에게 파리를 날렸을 때 그는 칼을 한번 휘들렀고 파리는 두 동강이 되었다. 그 다음 두번째 무사에게 파리를 날렸는데 그는 재빠르게 칼을 휘둘렀고 파리는 네 토막이 되었다.
세번째 무사가 조심스럽게 칼을 휘두르자 파리는 날아가 버렸다. 심판이 말했다. "자넨 놓쳤군!" 그러자 세번째 무사가 하는 말이 " 아닙니다. 저 파리는 다시는 알을 까지 못할 겁니다." ㅎㅎ | At last three best Samurai were chosen for the final competition amongst swords men from all over the world, who participated in the grand competition.

When a fly was released for the first Samurai, he swung his sword once and cut the fly into two pieces.
When a fly was released for the second Samurai, he swung his sword once also and cut the fly into four pieces.
However, when the third Samurai swung his sword with much concentration and care, the fly flew away.
The judge said. "You missed him!"
Then the third Samurai answered politely. "Not at all sir, that fly will never lay any egg any more, sir." |
