London cab driver's answer to a request from a Muslim to turn off the radio.
(You just
got to love the Brits.)
라디오를
꺼달라는 한 회교인의 부탁에 한 런던 택시 운자사가 한 답변. (영국인을 좋아
할 수 밖에 없지롱.)
 A devout Arab
Muslim entered a black cab in London.
한
독실한 아랍회교인이 런던에서 검은 택시를 탔다.
He curtly asked
the cabbie to turn off the radio because as decreed by his religious teaching,
he must not listen to music because in the time of the prophet there was no
music, especially Western music which is the music of the
infidel.
그는 퉁명스럽게
택시운전수보고 라디오를 꺼달라고 했다, 왜냐면 그가 믿는 종교의 가르침은 마호멭 선지자의 시대에는 음악이 없었고 특히 못된 불신자들이 듣는 그런
음악은 더 말할 것 없이 없었기 때문에 그는 그런 음악을 들어서는 안되기 때문이라고 말했다.
The cab
driver politely switched off the radio, stopped the cab and opened the
door.
택시운전수는 정중히 라디오를 끄고는 택시를 멈추고 문을 열었다.
The Arab
Muslim asked him, "What are you doing?"
아랍회교인이 그에게
물었다, "뭐하시는 겁니까?"
The cabbie answered, "In
the time of the prophet there were no taxis, so piss off and wait for a
camel..
텍시 운전사의 답, "
마호멭 선지자시대에는 택시가 없었으니 {엿이나 먹고} 꺼져, 낙타나 기다리세요..."
